The host station for Féile 2011 has been named as Phoenix FM in Blanchardstown.  The announcement was made by Craol Chairperson Kevin Griffiths at the dinner of Feile 2010 on Saturday night. 

Welcoming the decision, which followed an open expression of interest process in April, Phoenix FM Station Manager Irina Belova said that the hosting of the event by Phoenix next year is possible due not only to significant changes that have taken place in the station of the last 12 months, but because of the dedication of a committed community over the last 10 years. 

The event will take place in the last weekend of May 2011 (funding permitted).  The timing of the announcement so far ahead of the event,  was intended by CRAOL to maximise the potential of next year's event, through liaising with Feile 2010's excellent hosts Flirt FM.
