2023 Craol Achievement Awards now open for submissions

Closing date for applications 5pm August 18th 2023

Entry to the CRAOL 2023 Achievement awards is now open to all Craol Member Community Radio Stations in the Republic of Ireland who have a full broadcasting licence or a temporary 100/30-day licence. Full licenced Community Radio Station can submit three entries.  Temporary  licensed stations can submit one entry and must have been on air between September 2021 and August 2022.

When and where is the Awards ceremony?

The 2023 Craol Awards Ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday October 26th  at Féile 2022 at the Sheraton Hotel Athlone. As Féile can only accommodate 3 people per station the awards ceremony will also be streamed online where other members of your station can tune in and join the celebrations

Core Categories:
1. Social Benefit- Music programme, Talk Programme or News and Current Affairs
2. Commissioned programmes.

Rotating categories:
1. Access and Inclusion
2. Technical production values
3. Creativity and Effectiveness – Value to the community

Irish Language Category                                                                                                                                        1. Any Irish Language programming that has a minium 50% Irish content

Only Craol M stations and not individuals can put forward entries for the awards.
