Connemara Community Radio is a community owned and managed radio station broadcasting 72 hours per week to the people of North West Connemara for the past 22 years.
Connemara Community Radio now wishes to recruit a part-time Sound Technician/Outreach worker, to commence in October 2017. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in Sound Engineering; the ability to support groups and/or individuals in the community in programme production; and the capability to train groups and/or individuals in all aspects of technical production.
This is a busy position in a lively and creative radio station with a great team atmosphere. The successful candidate will be based in Letterfrack and will be expected to travel within the franchise area.
This is a part-time position 19.5 hours per week and is supported by POBAL under the Community Services Programme (CSP). The position will be offered to the successful candidate on a Specific Purpose Contract basis and is subject to on-going Government funding under the Community Services Programme.
