The Craol Coordination Committee are delighted to announce that on June 8th, 2023, the QQI Programmes and Awards Executive Committee (PAEC), approved Craol – Community Radio Forum of Ireland Society Limited’s in accordance with Section 30 of the Qualifications and Quality Assurance (Education and Training) Act 2012. (Date 08/06/2023)
In September 2022 Craol submitted an application of reengagement to QQI to continue delivering courses as QQI approved provider.
Whilst reengagement with QQI is a ‘one-off’ event, it is the start of more regular dialogue between QQI and Craol and will involve annual monitoring and cyclical reviews.
This reengagement process was highly beneficial to Craol but did require a lot of time and resources and was a demanding process. However we found the process to be a very beneficial and valuable experience as it allowed us to re-examine, evaluate and enhance our policies and procedures ensuring we have a more robust quality assurance system in place.
Craol are confident that this robust Quality Assurance process, with an updated Quality Assurance Manual, Trainers Handbook and Learners Handbook will ensure we deliver a quality training experience to our learners.
The QQI Panel conducted a thorough evaluation of our application and provided very constructive feedback and advice that we have incorporated in our QA Manual.
